The Class of 2018 was formally inducted and recognized at the Bow Valley Sports Hall of Fame 2018 Induction Celebration on September 27 at Silvertip Resort in Canmore.

Will Gadd
Will Gadd was inducted as an Athlete for his accomplishments in Mountain Pursuits some of which include:
- 1990-1996 Canadian National Sport Climbing Team – four-time Canadian Champion
- 1996-2006 Canadian National Paragliding Team – competed at World Championships twice
- Top Canadian Climber at World Cups 1994-1996
- First, 2008 US Paragliding Nationals
- First, Ice Climbing World Cup 2001
- First, X Games 2000- 2003
- Won the Ouray Ice Festival Elite Competition multiple times between 1998 and 2015
- Set World Distance Record for paragliding in 1998 and 2002. First person to fly over 400 kms.
- 2018 – Master of Paragliding and Hang-gliding – Paragliding Association of Canada
- Current RedBull Athlete
Mike Robertson
Mike Robertson was inducted as an Athlete for his accomplishments in Snowboarding some of which include:
- Member of the Alberta Snowboarding Team from 2000 – 2002
- Top ranked Canadian Snowboard Cross 2009 – 2012
- Member of the Canadian National Snowboard Team 2007-2012
- Member of Canada’s Winter Olympic Team in 2010 (Vancouver)
- Silver medal at the 2010 Vancouver Olympics
- 2007 Petro Canada Award
- 2007 Neil Dafferin Award in 2007 – In honour of the legacy of Neil Dafferin, the award aims to recognize and provide financial assistance to Canadian snowboarders who have the potential to be the World’s best in their respective disciplines.

Thomas Holland
Thomas Holland was inducted as a Builder for his long-time contributions to Cross Country Skiing some of which include:
- 1988-1990, Banff and Canmore Ski Clubs, cross country ski coach
- 1995 – 1998, Technical Chair, Cross Country Alberta
- 1992, 1994, 1998, 2000, 2002 Chief of Competition National Cross Country Ski Championships, Canmore
- 1990- 2006, Nordic Sport manager, Calgary Olympic Development Association – Bill Warren Training Centre and Haig Glacier Program
- 1998 – 2006, Chair of the National Ski Team Committee, Cross Country Canada

PIONEER
Monod Family
The Monod Family was inducted as Pioneers for their collective contributions to the development of Alpine Skiing some of which include:
- John Monod (born in 1917)
- In the 1930s John Monod was considered a world class ski racer in Europe, consistently placing in the top 5 at the French Championships. He arrived in Banff in 1948, from Switzerland as a Mountain Guide and Ski Instructor. He began teaching skiing at Sunshine Village that winter.
- Opened the first ski sales store in Banff in 1949.
- Ran ski schools at Norquay and Sunshine inspiring many young skiers in the area.
- Monod Sports became the centre of mountain activity in the Banff area, and the first mountain climbing school in Canada.
- Collaborating with Peter Fuhrmann and Walter Perren in establishing Canada’s first Alpine Rescue Team.
- Kay Monod (John’s wife, and mother of Stephanie, Philip, Peter and Nick)
- President of the Banff Springs Hotel Golf Club
- Winner of various golf tournaments between 1955 and 1975
- Stephanie Townsend Bucher (born in 1948) (John’s Stepdaughter)
- Canadian National Ski Team 1965-1969 (On the team at the same time as Nancy Greene)
- Philip Monod (born in 1956)
- Canadian National Ski Team – 1975-1977 – Most winning junior skier in Canadian History in Slalom and Giant Slalom
- Canadian Junior Champion in Slalom, Giant Slalom and Downhill
- Peter Monod (born in 1958)
- Canadian National Ski Team – 1976-1982 – 7 Time Canadian Champion in Slalom and GS
- Two Europa Cup Victories
- 1980 United States Champion in G.S, 3rd in Slalom

Gordon Morrison
Gordie Morrison was inducted as a Pioneer for his accomplishments in Alpine Skiing some of which include:
- Started skiing at Mount Norquay at age of 4
- 1935, First Ski Race
- 1946 – 1952, Won numerous provincial skiing competitions
- 1946 – 1952, Competed and won at National level
- 1952 – 1956, University of Alberta Ski Team, Athlete and Coach
- 1952 Olympic Winter Games, Canadian Team Member- Alpine Skiing (slalom and giant slalom)
- 1956, Coach the UofA Ski Team to a close 2nd place at the Pacific Northwest Intercollegiate Ski Meet
- 1972, Member of Banff’s 1972 Olympic Bid Committee
Gordie died in a plane crash in 1972 at the age of 41.
