Bow Valley Sports Hall of Fame’s Athlete & Coach Assistance Program

The Bow Valley Sports Hall of Fame’s Athlete and Coach Assistance Program (ACAP) is a sport funding program that contributes to the pursuit of excellence in sport and mountain pursuits. ACAP seeks to relieve some of the financial pressures associated with preparing for and participating in provincial, national and international competitions and assists high-performance Bow Valley resident athletes and coaches to combine their sport and academic or working careers while training intensively in pursuit of their goals. The ACAP will support up to 8 applications to a maximum of $1000 each. Next deadline to apply is March 12 2023.

Jumpstart is more than just about getting kids active. It’s about giving kids from families in financial need the same chance to participate as their neighbours, their classmates and their friends. Whether it’s the chance to try a new sport or to continue with a favourite one, no kid should be left out.

The vision of Jumpstart is simple: Canada, where all kids have a chance to fulfill their dreams. Jumpstart is a national charity with a commitment to local communities. Organized sports connect kids to their communities.
